During a transaction, if anything does not go according to planned, the parties can request mediation. The mediator will go through the transaction, understand what went wrong and then issue refunds accordingly.

From the moment a transaction begins, the funds are locked in the Polygon Blockchain, which brings together Ethereum's security at very low transaction costs. Nobody has access to these funds, even DealGuard employees, and they can only be released to one of the two parties involved in the transaction.
